Five transactions, five investment agreements and five recommendations from FORDATA’s customers

In the first quarter of 2014, we successfully completed five projects, which resulted in the signing of investment agreements by our customers.

Our service, the Virtual Data Room, has been used to professionally prepare and organize the stage of Due Diligence and in some cases also to support the so-called ‘confirmatory due diligence’ and final negotiations with the ultimate investor.
 
We have also completed another project, in which the FORDATA system was used to exchange files in a most secure way. A high level of service and professionalism of FORDATA has been recognized in the letters of reference, which you can read below.

M&A

The process of searching for an investor for a subsidiary company of Budimex S.A., one of the largest construction groups in Poland, was conducted in collaboration with advisors from DM BZ WBK. The transaction has resulted in the sale of the Danwood Sp. z o.o. company, for Barwick Investments. With the Mercor S.A. company, one of the leaders in the European market in the field of passive fire protection systems and a leading player in this industry in Poland, we have worked during the process of sale of the Company’s activities in the field of fire partitions. The process resulted in signing of a contract with the ASSA ABLOY Group, the value of the transaction amounted to PLN 199.5 million. During the 9-month process, we have provided more than 80,000 pages of documents. BIK Brokers Sp. z o.o., a group providing brokerage services relating to the implementation and use of comprehensive insurance programs, cooperated with us during the process of searching for an Investor. The process has ended with the acquisition of a financial investor Syntaxis Capital. We cooperated with the KIE Company, which provides in the segment of diagnostic imaging and is a supplier of medical equipment for clients from across the country, during the process of searching for an Investor. The process resulted in the sale of 85% of shares to the Tar Heel Capital II FIZAN (THC II) fund. Privatization

Privatization of the Polskie Koleje Linowe S.A., which provide comprehensive services in the field of mountain tourism, mainly related to providing a transport by mountain ropeways, ski lifts and other recreational equipment, was implemented in cooperation with the brokerage house of Dom Maklerski PKO BP. The process ended with signing of a contract for the sale of 100 % shares of the Polskie Koleje Górskie company, supported financially by the private equity fund Mid Europa Partners. The transaction value was PLN 215 million. “From the user’s perspective, it is a very intuitive and easy to use tool. Cooperation in a project
