This coming Thursday the 26th of June 2014, during the meeting organized by the Geek Girls Carrot – women who love new technologies, Ola Porębska (Eneje), the co-founder and director of IT at FORDATA, will talk about how important for business continuity is the IT service continuity planning.

Business continuity topic is her strongest point, a `hobby-horse` about which she often discusses with students during guest lectures. During Thursday`s meeting she will talk about the similarities and differences in planning and managing business continuity in large and small organizations. She will base mainly on her own experiences gained in corporations, as well as the implementation of a continuity plan at FORDATA.

Geek Girls Carrots is a community of women who love new technologies, which already has more than 10,000 members. The mission of the group is to promote women in IT, professional development and a desire to increase the share of females in industries related to new technologies.
Thursday`s event is already the 20th meeting held in Poznan. Next to Ola, other speakers will include representatives from companies such as UPC Business or brissk.com.
